Legal Secretary – Insurance Defence

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary with 2 to 5 years’ experience to join the Insurance Defence team at AMOSS Solicitors in Dublin 2.

The Insurance Defence team acts on behalf of Irish, UK and European Insurers and Re-Insurers to defend and prosecute claims in all divisional court jurisdictions and in all circuits. Areas of expertise include Public Liability claims, Product Liability claims, Motor Insurance claims, Personal Injuries, Professional Liability, Medical Negligence and Employer’s Liability Insurance.

The successful candidate will provide legal secretarial and dictation support at Partner level so he or she will need to be highly organized with the ability to initiate plans and structure work; have the ability to organise and prioritise their workload; demonstrate initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills; and have experience of in-house case management systems, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm, preferably within a litigation team. Excellent presentation skills, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to multi task and thrive in a fast-paced environment are all essential.
